Broadway's Best Murderous Musicals

Recently, it was revealed that American Psycho, the infamous tale of a Wall Street titan turned homicidal maniac, is coming to Broadway. At first, the popular slasher flick based on Bret Easton Ellis' novel might seem to be a poor fit for the Great White Way, but American Psycho's depiction of 80's corporate greed gone wild should resonate powerfully given the present state of the economy and Broadway has actually had a long history of musicals starring singing serial killers.
To prep for American Psycho's Broadway debut and the upcoming Halloween festivities, bone up on this list of Broadway's best murderous musicals (pun fully intended).
Inside an Amsterdam Marijuana Coffee Shop

Dutch 101 for beginners: a coffee shop isn't where you get a caffeine fix. Coffee shops in the Netherlands are places where you can buy and smoke marijuana legally.
I would never advocate the usage of drugs under normal circumstances, but I visited one of these "coffee shops" and sampled their wares on a recent trip to Amsterdam. Of course, it was all strictly for research purposes.

City dwellers have to face plenty of scary stuff like hipsters and rush hour traffic, but the most terrifying thing about urban living is the possibility of running across a homicidal maniac.
For whatever reason, serial killers seem drawn to cities and many of history's most prolific killers have made their home in major metropolises. Since Halloween is rapidly approaching and this is the month to celebrate all things creepy and frightful here's our roundup of the top ten worst (or best depending on how you look at it) urban serial killers -- based on carnage and media attention.
Yotel Makes Living In The Airport Easy
Oct 8th 2008 12:21PM
By Hunter Walker

Want to be like Tom Hanks' character in The Terminal and spend a few months living in an airport? If the answer is yes, then Yotel is the perfect place for you. Yotel is a one-year-old hotel chain that's inspired by the tiny "capsule hotels" that are popular in Japan. This month, Yotel opened a new outpost in Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. It's their third branch following locations at London's Gatwick and Heathrow airports, but with 57 rooms it's going to be the biggest of the bunch. Yotel's "cabins" range from only 23-33 square feet, but they include all of the comforts of a standard hotel at a far lower price even for the "premium cabin" seen above.
Motown vs. Detroit Rock City
Sep 25th 2008 9:40AM
By Hunter Walker

Detroit has a incredibly rich musical history. But all that music gave Detroit two distinct identities: Motown & Detroit Rock City. During the 60's and 70's Berry Gordy's Motown Records opened up in the Motor City and made it the worldwide capital of R&B and soul music. Over the years, Detroit has also given birth to several rock and roll legends.
So which sound defines the Motor City today? We took a look at the past and present of Detroit's music scene to figure out if it's really a Rock City or if it's forever linked to the Motown sound.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are Hollywood's hottest couple. After months of fevered speculation, the megastar actress and celebrity DJ just officially confirmed their romance and the word on the street is that the pair is due to get hitched at any moment.
We've already covered wedding destinations for gay and lesbian couples where Sam and LiLo could go to tie the knot, but where should they go for their honeymoon once they finally decide to tie the knot?
Because of all the media frenzy surrounding their relationship, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson will need to honeymoon somewhere off the beaten path. Sam should also make sure they choose somewhere where Lindsay won't be able to get in to trouble. Before they were dating, Lindsay was a bit of a mess, so they should be mindful of choosing a peaceful location where LiLo won't end up falling off the wagon. I've rounded up a list of possible honeymoon destinations where Sam and Lindsay can enjoy luxury accommodations in some of the world's most remote locations to help them find privacy and calm after their wedding.
The View From The Bleachers On Yankee Stadium's Last Night
Sep 22nd 2008 11:06AM

I have no idea when I attended my first baseball game at Yankee stadium, but yesterday I definitely attended my last one. After 85 years playing at the famed House That Ruth Built, my beloved New York Yankees are moving to a new stadium across the street.
I'm not exactly superstitious, but if there's anything that could curse a baseball team it's demolishing the most storied stadium in the sport. It's horrible. Last night, I went to the final game in the original ballpark.
