Finding a good bartender can be a challenge at times. Finding the best one? You're getting into needle-in-a-haystack territory. But one company isn't just looking for the best, they're looking for the finest... and the finest in the world of gin.

EWG Spirits & Wine's G'Vine, Gin de France officially announced the G'Vine 2010 Connoisseur Program in late October, an official worldwide quest for the finest gin bartender.

Click to Tweet This NowSo far, over 150 bartenders have entered from 21 countries... but the number is steadily growing. That could have something to do with the prizes, of course, which include a year's supply of G'Vine, $3,000 dollars U.S., and a luxury trip through Amsterdam, London and Paris for the winning bartender and their travel partner to learn everything they could ever possibly want to know about gin.

But not winning doesn't mean you don't get treats. All the finalists get flown to Paris and Cognac for a week of challenges and seminars, where the top 20 competitors will be given tailor-made tools from G'Vine so they can continue their cocktailing ways.

Of course, it's not all fun and games. Competitors will be tested on their abilities, knowledge and marketing know how. The deadline for each participant to complete their exams? December 15th. Think you've got what it takes? Hit up the official G'Vine site to find out how you can enter. Good luck!
