Take a time machine back to 1986, when Bon Jovi was first hitting their stride and making people - okay, mostly girls - quiver with glee over Slippery When Wet.
Did you ever think they'd still be around rocking it in 2009? Aren't you glad they are?
We're about to be guaranteed that they're going to rock it for at least another couple of years, because today the band made an announcement that they're going to hit the road for two years, spanning dates across the globe in 2010 and 2011.
Called "The Circle World Tour," Bon Jovi is set to play the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey for two dates starting May 24th, tickets for which go on sale this Saturday at 10am.
But before that they launch their live show in Seattle on February 19th, then comb down to San Jose, Phoenix and L.A., swing through Canada and the East Coast to hit Philly and Washington, before closing out the North American leg July 30th in Chicago.
You know you're going to buy tickets. The question is, what are you going to wear?

U2 Adds Dates
After a successful showing at Pasadena's Rose Bowl last night (which was simulcast on YouTube), U2 started their week by announcing more North American tour dates for their current 360 Tour. Last night's date was supposed to be the final one for the North American leg of the tour, but the band surprised fans with the announcement that they'd be back in June 2010 for dates in Anaheim, Seattle, Chicago and elsewhere before finally closing things out at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New York on July 19th.
Rihanna Plays A Cruise
Usually cruises are characterized as being mostly for newlyweds or nearly deads, but by the sounds of things, Rihanna is about to liven things up a bit. The songstress has agreed to play aboard the Royal Caribbean ship Oasis of the Seas next month on November 19th for a three-night preview voyage aboard the 5,400 passenger vessel. She'll be performing at the Aqua Theater, an outdoor amphitheater that doubles as a pool during the day, in support of her new album.
