The British Open - or as media outlets along with everyone and their blog is trying to brand it as just The Open Championship - tees off today at Turnberry in Scotland.
As with the recent Wimbledon in London, watching The (British) Open Championship in the States can be tricky with the time difference. The Open Championship TV schedule can be a bit tricky between the different networks and live action vs. re-runs. If you're at home or have a TV in your office, you'll have to deal with TNT. It's on 7AM to 7PM Thursday and Friday with early morning coverage on Saturday (6-9AM) and Sunday (6-8AM). On the weekend, ABC will be picking up the broadcast when TNT stops so 9AM on Saturday and 8AM on Sunday for the final round.
If however, you're frightened to turn on your TV during the day because of Wendy Williams, Rachel Ray or The View (especially Wendy Williams), then you can watch live streams on PGA.com. If you just want to stay on top of the British Open Championship leaderboard, you can visit the official Website and hit refresh a lot or you grab the The Open Championship widget and customize your own leaderboard. And there's also, of course, there's also an iPhone app.
