If you are a fan of flavored beers, you've probably tried chocolate beer or even oatmeal stout. But if you're looking for a new flavors, you should turn to Hokkaido Abashiri Beer out of Japan.

That's right -- the company that brought you Bilk (you know, the beer and milk combo beer) back in 2007 is still making new, weird concoctions.

The beer company had their big break back in 2007 when dairy farmers in the town of Hokkaido had an excess of milk. They were forced to dump out all that unwanted cow juice. That gave Abishiri Beer company a creamy idea: boil the milk at a low temperature, add hops, and then beer yeast.

At first the product looked like a milky tea, but as it fermented they got a sweet tasty beer. The Abashiri Beer company was officially in the Bilk business.

Today, Bilk is nowhere to be seen on the company's Website. But perhaps you'd be interested in trying Ryuhyo Draft, a beer which uses water from melted ice floes and seaweed pigment. Or maybe you'd be inclined to try Hotate Draft, a brew made with scallops -- yes, the seafood.

You can find all the offerings from the beer company online -- if you're really that curious.
