1. Nashville's Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing - July 4
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of this festive July Fourth celebration and Wynonna Judd is headlining the big concert before hand as she's joined by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, The Gabe Dixon Band and Barry Scott. The world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers are stopping by to sing the national anthem as well.
The city of Nashville is happy to welcome people from all over to this year's event. Family-friendly activities and live music will be available to everyone throughout the day. And the amazing fireworks display that launches over the main stage is the biggest in all of the South.
All events are free and open to the public. Downtown festivities begin at noon while a lineup of live music will play from 3-6PM. The official concert, starring Miss Judd, kicks off at 7PM and the fireworks show will ignite at about 9:10PM. And it's all happening at Riverfront Park.

These are all good displays. However have you ever seen the fireworks over the three rivers in the City Of Champions, Pittsburgh?

I can't believe you left out Detroit, Michigan, USA. While the Fourth of July holiday (Independance Day) is a national event, in Detroit, it is international since our beautiful river downtown borders Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Our two cities celebrate together with festivals and the grandest of fireworks over the river. And although they've already had the fireworks this year, it is a site to see. Don't forget us next summer.
