17. Idaho Falls Melaleuca Freedom Celebration - July 4
To honor the memory of the men and women who have laid down their lives to protect our freedom, Idaho Falls puts on a beautiful fireworks show over the Idaho Falls Greenbelt. It is one of the biggest west of the Mississippi and impresses visitors and locals alike every year. The show has gone on for sixteen years and it shows. The people behind the fireworks really know what they're doing.
Get the best view of the show from the Greenbelt. The fireworks will launch from a ramp near the Highway 20 Bridge at 10PM and local radio station KLCE 97.3FM will synchronize their playlist to the booms.
16. Disney World's Celebrate America - July 4
If you find yourself celebrating the nations birthday in Orlando, make your way to Disney World (pictured above) to see a beautiful fireworks exhibition above the Magic Kingdom. Disney describes the event as a "Fourth of July Concert In The Sky." While fireworks light up the sky year round at Disney World, this year's display will be a special celebration as the Hall of Presidents will reopen this July featuring an animatronic version of our newest president.
The show will kick off promptly at 9PM for Magic Kingdom visitors and a "SpectroMagic" nighttime parade will also roll through the park at 10:30PM.
