Some burger spots feel a real kinship to their local area. For this reason, they may use locally-grown products or just stay connected to the community in their own unique ways. Such a connection can really strengthen a relationship between locals and a burger joint.Portland, Dallas and Tampa were all so proud of their local burger spots that they voted them the best.
Burgerville in Portland, Oregon (pictured)
Burgerville not only loves Portland -- they also love the planet. Purchasing from local growers when possible, the burger joint still makes a really tasty meal while helping local businesses thrive. Burgerville also promotes sustainable living to help the earth thrive.
Kincaid's in Fort Worth, Texas
Established as a local grocer in Fort Worth in the 1940's, Kincaid's has thrived and evolved in the same spot over the years. The grocer began using his extra beef to make burgers on a small grill and pretty soon they were the most popular burgers in town. Kincaid's has expanded but it still remains in Texas.
El Cap in St. Petersburg, Florida
Making fresh burgers daily has been a tradition at El Cap near Tampa for decades. The burgers you'll get at this little spot are simple but juicy and delicious. This may be because the same local St. Pete family has run the spot since 1963 and burger-making has been passed down through the generations.

Kincaids is in
Fort Worth not Dallas, Dallas is 30 miles away. We have nothing against Dallas but this is Fort Worth it is nothing like Dallas and we who live here do not take kindly to be referred to as Dallas Citizens. Thank You

I WOULD BE REMISSED IF I DID NOT MENTION SOLLY'S IN MILWAUKEE, WISC. KNOWN FOR ITS PILLOW BURGERS SOAKED WITH BUTTER. THEY ARE LOCATED NEAR PORT RD. AND HAMPTON AND HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE THE 40'S AND MAYBE EVEN EARLIER. I HAVE SINCE RELOCATED TO FLORIDA BUT WHEN I RETURN I ALWAYS STOP AT SOLLYS FOR THEIR DELICIOUS BURGERS. IT IS SHEER DECADENTS.
