You may not know it but Thanksgiving Eve is one of the biggest bar nights of the year. And next Wednesday night, parties will abound and old friends will reunite as everyone comes home for Thanksgiving. It's the type of hullabaloo you only see on certain holiday eves like Halloween (All Hallow's Eve) and New Years Eve. But this kind of party is different because you get the chance to reunite with old friends.
Parties will take place all across the country. Raven's Thanksgiving Eve Party at Cezar's in Scottsdale, Arizona offers an excellent example of the festivities that will dominate the evening. While in New York City, clubs are going all out for the event. One of the biggest parties will be hosted by MTV and VH1 reality show celebs at Nest. Several other parties will be held around the city and in surrounding suburbs.
Other cities will also be celebrating with big bashes. Club Firestone in Orlando, Florida will open their doors at 7:00 pm for party goers hoping to hear DJ Icey spin. Those looking for a good time in St. Paul, Minnesota can head to O'Gara's Bar & Grill to hear live music. Club Ampersand in New Orleans, Louisiana will hold a "Pre-Thanksgiving" party starting at 11:00 pm. A "Pre-Turkey Day" bash will also be held at Michael's Pub in Washington, DC.
Regular Wednesday night parties will continue while new traditions will be started. Bistro 412's Wednesday night Karaoke Dance Party in Palo Alto, California is still on for regulars and newbies. And those who need to hold onto some money this holiday season should head to the 1st Annual Poor Pilgrims Party at the American Legion Hall in Riverside, Rhode Island.
