5. Kinhdo Restaurant
This Minneapolis Asian eatery serves some impressive portions of several different dishes for a pretty cheap price. The menu offers diverse options from Vietnamese to Chinese cuisine. Visitors often enjoy their meals and go home satisfied.

4. Annie's Parlour
Not only does Annie's serve a great burger, it also gives visitors a great view of the Minneapolis skyline from the rooftop. And patrons enjoy many other items from the menu which mostly fall under the umbrella of diner food. It's greasy, satisfying and cheap.

3. Matt's Bar
Another Twin Cities favorite burger is served at Matts Bar. This corner spot has garnered a good deal of attention for making a delicious burger for a pretty low price. Go inside and sit down in this cozy joint and enjoy the burger before you decide which is the best in town.

2. Mickey's Diner
Greasy food is served at Mickey's but it's delicious greasy food and any fan of the diner would defend it. Located inside of an old-fashioned dining car, Mickey's brings you back to another time complete with prices from eras long gone. It's open 24 hours but breakfast tends to be the most popular meal here.

1. Cossetta Italian Market
Cossetta is the pizza place in St. Paul. A slice won't cost you much but it'll certainly satisfy you for an entire day. You can even pick up some stuff, including frozen pizzas, in the market and take it home with you so that you can enjoy Cossetta from the comfort of your home.

5. Tiffany Bar & Grille
A low-key hangout during the week and an all-out party on the weekends, Tiffany Bar attracts a pretty diverse crowd. Sports fans often come by to see the game and get a cheap pint of beer while college students come to dance and take advantage of weekend drink specials.

4. Spot Bar
No matter what time of day you walk into Spot Bar, there's probably a way that you can get a discount on that drink you're going to order. Having been in operation since the 1880's, this place likes to have a little fun so if you agree to play their game, you can sometimes get a drink for a $1. There are also easier ways to get drink discounts but even without the deals, the drinks are still dirt cheap.

3. Figlio
Happy hour at Figlio gets you $2 drinks. The hours depend on what day of the week you show up but generally, from 4:00 to 7:00 and then again later in the night, you can enjoy the drink specials on house wines and tap beer.

2. Aura
This lounge celebrates a very long happy hour or "Happy Aura" every day. Starting at 4:00 pm and generally going all night long, patrons can enjoy some great happy hour specials. Everything from martinis to mojitos are on special and prices start at $2.50 for beer.

1. Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge
The quirky spot called Psycho Suzi's gets pretty crazy around 9:00 pm. What is a restaurant by day turns into a bar and a great drink menu is rolled out. Beers and wines are generally always affordable but if you come before the bar transformation, from about 3:00 to 6:00 pm, you can enjoy their great happy hour specials as well.
