In the November issue of Chicago magazine, the editors will name their picks for the 20 best steak houses in Chicago. The issue will also explore the beef aging process, standout menu items for each pick, restaurants the chefs love when they're not grilling in their kitchens and amazing sides and desserts available at many steak houses.

Chicago's editor, Richard Babcock says, "Chicago has historically been a meat and potatoes type of town, so it has frequently set the standard for quality steak houses." Chicago magazine has also been an authority on Chicago dining and other aspects of the city and often provides Chicagoans with the best of for their city. A recent issue included the best new restaurants in the area.

In July, AOL released the winners of their City's Best Program featuring a category for steak houses in Chicago. Gene & Georgetti's came out on top as Chicago's City's Best with Gibson's in a close second. With the Chicago magazine list about to drop, it will be interesting to note the differences and similarities between the City's Best top ten and the Chicago top 20 in this upcoming November issue.

The November issue will also detail the best auto body shops in the city for the local drivers who need a push in the right direction. It can be as difficult to find a reliable mechanic as it can be to find a quality steak. Luckily, Chicago magazine is here to lend us all a hand.
