Midsummer, meet reader; reader, midsummer. Now why don't the two of you have a drink together somewhere outdoors.

Pretty much anywhere you go to party these days, you'll find somewhere with "garden" or "patio" or whatever they happen to call it in that part of the country. Cities with something to really offer patrons outdoors include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City or pretty much any place on a coast.

San Francisco's Mars Bar & Restaurant (pictured) offers an "outdoor garden patio" to their guests who enjoy events like the Nikki Beach Party and the Summer Ho' Down both inside and out. The Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden in New York City attracts people from all walks of life who like to share pitchers of beer while sitting around picnic tables outside and under tents. Even in Phoenix, Arizona, you can take the party beyond four walls; The Vig in Scottsdale not only has an "outdoors" they also set up a bocce ball court for all to partake.
